3 NLP techniques to increase confidence

Self-confidence means the ability to enter the world of the unknown. It means I can start a new business, move it forward and finish it successfully. According to this definition, if you do something easily and habitually, you can not claim to have confidence in it. The NLP technique for boosting self-confidence is one of the most important topics in this amazing science.

Do all people have self-confidence?

Most people will say no to this question. While such a perception is completely wrong. Many people say, “I’m not Self Confidence,” as soon as the NLP class sessions begin and at the beginning of the conversation. Here they are asked: “So why did you get out of bed this morning?” Do you think we could have survived at all if we did not have Self Confidence in any area? Certainly we continue to make changes, albeit small ones that we have little hope of in the first place.
So what is the main point?
The important point that most people do not pay attention to is that self-confidence is not a general issue. That is, anyone can be confident in one area and lack self-confidence in another.
For example, a person may have Enough self-esteem in communicating with others, while he or she may have low self-esteem when buying a personal device. This is where NLP self-confidence techniques come in handy, and by subconsciously programming our, they boost our confidence in whatever areas we want.

Remember that the mind resists any change.

Because our mind feels that any change is a departure from the safe zone, it responds primarily to change quickly. The subconscious mind always tries to dissuade us from making the decision to change in various ways, even though that change is in our favor. In NLP classes, students are always asked to repeat the phrase over and over in their minds: “The most important goal of the subconscious mind is to maintain well-being, security and comfort, even if it forces us to do wrong.”

Generalizing is one way of mind to resist change

One of the methods that the subconscious mind uses to resist change is to generalize. For example, when we lack self-confidence, it extends to all aspects of our lives, and this leads us to say, “I do not have self-confidence.”
Naturally, someone who says such a thing gradually believes that he has no ability to start anything new, and this means victory for a change-resistant mind.
Techniques to boost self-confidence with NLP increase our self-confidence by precisely breaking the barriers of the subconscious mind.

How to increase your confidence with NLP?

Here are 3 important NLP techniques to boost your confidence and I recommend you practice them with a proper timing:

1- Conditioning the mind to strengthen self-confidence.
Do the following steps in order:
Close your eyes first and take a few deep breaths.
Now think of a time when you were confident enough in one case.
Now travel to that time mentally. Remember everything you saw, heard, or felt, as if that memory were happening right now.
The more you immerse yourself in the memory, the more positive emotions you develop in yourself.
Fist your hand at this point and remember for about 30 seconds.
First open your fist and then your eyes gently.
Repeat the previous steps several times.
From now on, wherever you need high self-confidence, just punch your hand. You will definitely notice what a noticeable change has occurred in your feelings.

2-Eliminate limiting mental beliefs
As we have said before, one of the things our subconscious mind does to resist change is to generalize. So wherever you say to yourself, “I’m not Self Confidence,” be assured that this is just a misconception embedded in you. In this case, do the following steps:
Write down the sentence you say to yourself. Such as: “I can not” or “I do not succeed” or “I do not have confidence”
Now ask yourself:
How can I be sure I can’t?
Or how can I be sure that I will not succeed?
If I have not succeeded many times, is there any reason why I should not succeed again?
When have I acted confidently?
What exactly was I saying to myself at the time?

3-Of people self-confidently Imitate
One of the steps that should be taken to increase self-confidence with NLP is to emulate people around us who have enough self-confidence. This modeling means paying attention to the pattern of walking, sitting, talking, looking, breathing and… in these people.
In NLP, there is a special emphasis on this issue, which by changing the physical states, can also affect the emotional and mental states. Therefore, modeling the behaviors of people with high self-esteem is very effective in raising self-confidence. To make your way easier, I recommend that you pay attention to the following:
Take firm steps.
Keep your head and neck straight and leaning up when walking or standing.
Take a few deep breaths as you speak.
Look into the other person’s eyes as you speak.
All the exercises provided with NLP can be very effective in increasing self-confidence. Start with strength now.
